Clients are responsible for confirming coverage and financial responsibility with their insurance plan prior to service. Some insurance plans outsource behavioral health coverage through third-party companies to save money. Clients are responsible for confirming that behavioral health coverage is provided through one of my in-network insurances. Clients can usually do this by logging into their plan website and reviewing coverages. I recommend calling the member services line on the back of your insurance card to confirm coverage.

Services Provided
Psychiatry: Medication Management with Adjunct Psychotherapy
Psychiatric Intakes
An initial psychiatric evaluation is critical for me to help understand you better as an individual. During your first appointment, I aim to help understand you better as an individual. I will also confirm a mental disorder that may require treatment, and prescribe a psychiatric medication or medications if needed. During this process, you will be included in the treatment plan.
Medication Management
Medications are critical for many clients to relieve symptoms of psychiatric conditions. My goal is to help you feel better as efficiently as possible, especially if you have had multiple medication changes in the past, thus saving your time and money. Therefore, genetic testing, as explained above, may be recommended.
Adjunct Psychotherapy
I offer cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to adult clients who are also receiving medication management services. CBT is the most effective type of therapy for many mental health conditions. CBT helps restructure the way you think about yourself, others, the world, and situations that affect you. CBT requires between 6-15 sessions for most clients. If it is appropriate for your situation, your provider will recommend CBT for you and conveniently combine it with your mediation management appointments if you agree to this effective approach to treatment.
*I am not able to offer adjunctive therapy at this time.
